Admissions Information

Fill out application

Fill out the Psychology graduate application for graduate school, specifying the Marriage and Family Therapy Program, and pay the non-refundable $50 application fee.

Submit GRE scores--This requirement is frozen until further notice.

We are currently not requiring a GRE.  Preference is given to those scoring at or above the 40th percentile on the GRE.  MAT scores are also accepted, but Millers has ceased administering the test.  We will accept MAT scores until 2028.

Submit 3 Recommendations

Applicants need to have 3 recommenders fill submit a form and letter of recommendation.  Recommenders should include individuals who are capable of describing the applicant’s educational or professional ability.  You should include both in your recommendations.

Submit college transcripts and prerequisites

Preference is given to those meeting a 3.0 gpa (B or better), especially for the last 60 credits and any psychology classes.  There are prerequisites to be admitted to this program:  Introduction to Psychology,  Abnormal Psychology, and Lifespan Development.  These three classes MUST be completed before beginning classes in the program.  Taking a research methods or statistics class is also highly beneficial.

Applications must be completed by January 15th. All applicants will be notified by email if they are selected for an on-campus interview.
